The fans were stunned to see Jake Roberts in Lawler’s corner, and early on he just eyed Jimmy Hart. Lawler was double-teamed and seemed to be in trouble. Jimmy Hart was grandstanding and didn’t notice that The Snake was sneaking up on him. Roberts collared Hart, which led to Bundy dropping down from the corner. Roberts held on to Hart and backed around the ring, leading Bundy to chase him. Rude had Lawler set up for the neckbreaker in the ring, but became distracted. Lawler shoved him off, connected with a brutal right hand to the jaw and then rolled up Rude for a pin. As soon as the bell rung, Jake hurled Hart at Bundy and began decking him. Bundy fought back, but out came The King! Lawler and Roberts double-teamed Bundy and hurled him head-first into the steel turnbuckle. Blood began trickling down Bundy’s forehead as Hart and Rude rushed over. Lawler was grand-standing as he walked to the back, while Roberts just showed a sly smile.
