COMMERCIAL BREAK
Kevin Wall welcomes us back to All-Star Wrestling as he stands before us in the ring with a visit from Sheik Abdullah the Great and his stable of wrestlers. They fawn over the Sheik as he speaks.
Abdullah: You know! Not only do I have a great stable, a great army; but sometimes I have my countrymen! And my brothers come to my aide! The Iron Sheik has been a great asset to my cause! A man who will do battle with, hurt; and even defeat the fat infidel currently holding the Central States Title! Yet another in a long line of stupid American Champions! And that man of course is my brother, my man-at-arms; The Iron Sheik!
Iron Sheik: Message I have for you Mr. "Avalanche" Tyler! You. You and stinking Central States fans may not think Sheik have what it takes to win Title! But on you and otha stupid Americans I spit upon! None of them remember! None of them think! Iron Sheik already be World Champion! Iron Sheik already beat Bub Backlund! Iron Sheik already beat Ron Garvin! And after Iron Sheik lock in Camel Clutch; he beat "Avalanche" Tyler too!
Abdullah: Kevin Wall! You know people! Buzz Tyler your days are numbered! And any other wrestler in the Central States area that dares defy the great Sheik Abdullah, the Master of Illusion will meet with the same fate! Because I have in my army four great wrestlers!
Wall: I don't know if you can call them wrestlers...
Abdullah: (to Gypsy Joe) Watch this man! Who feels no pain! (and slaps him!) Feels no pain! (slaps him!) Feels no pain! (slaps him again!) What man has a chance against a man who feels no pain?! Six hundred pounds MEB! The great Captain Luke Graham and the future Central States Champion! The Iron Sheik!
Wall: Alright. There you have it. Sheik Abdullah the Great and his so-called Army. And we will continue on All-Star Wrestling right after this.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Wall: While we're busy restoring some order at ringside, we'd like to bring you a video of an exciting new team coming to the Central States area right here next week!
A video plays of the Easy Riders! "Maniac" Matt Bourne and "Killer" Jim Morris are loved by women, feared by children; and hated by damn near everybody. While "Black Betty" by RamJam plays we see clips of the dup riding their Harley Davidsons, getting into bar fights, riding their bikes, picking on on some geek in a bar with a hot girl seated beside him who's checking them out, riding their bikes again, Borne throws the man off the stool and they leave, more of them on their bikes; Jim Morris re-enter the bar and throw the girl over his shoulder before walking out of the bar again; and finally them on their bikes and Bourne has the girl hanging on him now.
Advertising for next week's Thursday show with Kevin Wall at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Missouri! The CSW Tag-Team Champions wanted better competition and boy are they going to get it in The Easy Riders! And that Title Match will take place this Thursday Night in Kansas City, Missouri October 10th! Also on this star-studded card Sgt. Slaughter will be in action and Missouri Champ Harley Race will battle "Bulldog" Bob Brown! Ted Oates will face Gypsy Joe! The monstrous MEB will battle Jerry "The Crusher" Blackwell! Tickets are on sale right now at the Kansas City, Memorial Hall box office, TicketMaster Outlets, Famous Barn Stores, Regal Sports Team; or by phone call Dial Tix right now 644-1700! Don't forget tickets on sale $5, $6, $7; and $8. Air-Conditioned Memorial Hall. The action will be hot and heavy. Now with Central States Champion "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler!
Buzz: Well lemme tell you something Kevin. Sheik Abdullah and the Iron Sheik may talk a good game, but the one thing they seem to forget is that the one area we'll always beat that area in the world in is good ol' fashioned American determination and ingenuity. There's a reason when I go home it's to my six bedroom home while they're still crawling around in caves Kevin. Now Iron Sheik may be a former Champion, but he's not going to come into the Central States area and run over me. And nobody else. He's got a pretty good record so far, he's a very tough individual. But he's not gonna come here and I'm not gonna put up with his tactics. I'm gonna fight him toe to toe, anyway he wants to go baby. I'll do it with him.
Wall then talks about the fact Buzz is currently holding two Titles and that as of yet we haven't heard from the Championship commitee on whether or not Tyler will be able to keep them. To put this matter to bed, we're honored to have with us CSW President Bob Geigel!
Geigel thanks Kevin for having him here today. He says that it pains him to relay the Championship Commitrees decision here. But in the end we all have to obey the rulings of the NWA. And they've stated explicitly that the Heavyweight Champion may not hold the secondary Title of any promotion under their banner. So Buzz, while we all know you beat that rat Gypsy Joe fair and square. You're going to have to chose to lose one of the belts. And he needs the answer here tonight.
Buzz says it's an easy choice. Being Central States Champ means everything to him and every competitor in this locker room. Besides he only took the TV Title off Gypsy Joe for the fun of it. To teach that dirty cheat a lesson. He then hands the belt back to Geigel. Bob thanks him for being a stand-up Champ about it before announcing that at next week's house shows a Tournament will be held to crown a new Champ. With the semi-Finals televised right here next week!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Another advertisement for next Thursday's show at Memorial Hall, this time however Kevin Wall is with The Uptown Boys who will have a Title defense next week. Marty Jannetty does all the talking telling that that him and his good buddy, his brother Tommy Rogers don't care a lick about facing The Easy Riders next week! That they asked for competition and now they've got it. And while Bourne and Morris might be big, they might be tough; and they might be two of the meanest men they've ever met; that's not gonna stop the Uptown Boys from Rocking and Rolling all over their ugly faces! Jannetty and Rogers then high five.
Match: The Uptown Boys w/ Honey vs. The Masked Mongrels # 1 & 2
Referee: Tom Andrews
The Uptown Boys have the beautiful Honey at ringside for this one. Marty Jannetty starts things off with Mongrel # 1 and the fans are squarely behind the Uptowners! Jannetty however runs afoul of the Masked Mongrels who seem tougher than they've ever been tonight. Wall wonders if they took the Tag-Team Champs claim that their was no competition in this area to heart. And Marty is in trouble as Mongrel # 1 locks him in the Stump Puller single leg Boston Crab! After being kept out of his corner for a good 10 minutes however, Jannetty rolls out of the submission move tossing the Mongol across the ring! And with the much larger Mongrel # 2 hot on his tail he leaps to make the tag!
And he gets it! Rogers comes in on fire and begins battering on the Mongrels, clotheslining the illegal # 2 from the ring! The fans rally behind him, but when he stops a second to soak up the cheers he turns right into a clothesline from Mongrel # 1! Just then however Bob Geigel heads down to the ring with several preliminary wrestlers?!
The wrestlers jump in the ring separating the two teams while Geigel talks to ring announcer Terry Garvin. Garvin then announces that the match has been thrown out! Because the unconscious Masked Mongrels # 1 & 2 have been found in the back! Kevin Wall is confused. If these two men aren't the Mongrels; then just who are they? It doesn't take long to figure it out however and Mongrel # 1 removes his mask to reveal...
"Maniac" Matt Borne! He's all grins and looks rather proud of himself as the Uptown Boys go crazy and try to break through the prelim wrestlers to get a piece of the Easy Riders! Kevin Wall however informs us that won't be happening as Bob Geigel is having both men tossed from the arena!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Another advertisement for Thursday's show, this time Kevin Wall talks with Harley Race. The Missouri Champ heard the Sheik's threats and he don't give a damn. You don't become Missouri Champ seven times and hold the belt for as long as he has without hearing more than your share of threats. But so far the Hillbilly Sheik hasn't been able to back up a single one of his attempts to take this belt. And he ain't going to either.
Kevin Wall then sends us to the main event, where you referee for this evening is Dave Nevins.
Main Event: Buzz Tyler vs. Captain Luke Graham w/ Sheik Abdullah the Great & The Iron Sheik
Sheik Abdullah the Great makes a nuisance of himself at ringside repeatedly telling ring announcer Terry Garvin to shut up, because he'll "Keeel him!" Garvin doesn't back down. Inside the ring "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler and Captain Luke Graham grapple and pound one another about the ring. They're pretty evenly matched which doesn't please Abdullah in the least. Buzz Tyler is on his way to the win when he hits a running Body Avalanche in the corner and prepares to hit a Splash in the middle of the ring, but gets smacked over the head by Sheik Abdullah who's now up on the apron!
Nevins calls for the bell awarding the match to the CSW Champ by DQ but the Sheiks Abdullah and Iron enter the ring where Iron Sheik clobbers Buzz with the chair as well before handing it back to his manager! Tyler however has had enough and charging Sheik Abdullah, slams him into the corner, grabs the chair and lets him have it laying him out flat! Iron Sheik and Luke Graham look to even the score, but Buzz Tyler wards them off with the chair and drops down out of the ring. He's busy yelling at the Army still when...
